Ages 5 - 11
This is an extra curricular, Fun & Fitness
Programme suitable for boys and girls. They are mostly public courses
held in local gyms or village halls. Classes run 52 weeks of the year.
We cover six components of fitness;
Agility; Balance; Co-ordination; Power; Reaction Time; Speed.
These six components provide an excellent foundation for sport and general fitness. The classes are roughly grouped in ages but we are more concerned with ability and that all the children in the class are able to succeed. We always include a chat at the start of each class explaining what a healthy lifestyle entails.
We make learning FUN
Activities
Tumbling, jumps, rolls, hand stands, squats, movement to music and group games. Fun-time games with ribbons, a parachute, hoola hoops, beanbags and lots more.
Development
Large and small motor skills, spacial awareness, co-operation, hand to eye co-ordination, manual dexterity and team playing
