The main aim of our programmes is to have fun whilst learning how to stay fit and healthy.

OUR SPECIALISED PROGRAMME

Learn with Lou is a unique programme, designed to help children learn about the fundamentals of balance, co-ordination, rhythm, shapes, numbers, colours, creative movement and dance.

Our classes offer energetic and exciting activities that put the fun back into physical fitness. We encourage a positive attitude about fitness that will benefit children through to their adult lives.

Aerobic exercise burns fat. improves breathing and elevates the heart rate. Over an extended period of time (about 20 minutes of aerobic exercise) the body will begin to use it’s stored fat reserves as fuel.

There are lots of different activities which enable children to increase their heart rate, but the Learn with Lou classes are structured to enable children to exercise in a safe environment, under the supervision of fully qualified instructors, with the use of proper equipment, thereby minimizing the risk of injury.

The programme offers one year’s curriculum, when children will learn how their own bodies work, and also, how important it is to be active.

Activities include games with parachutes, hoops, balls and beanbags, along with a huge variety of other inspirational and motivational equipment.
